Watch the intense moment notorious activist Tash Peterson storms into the anti-vegan Fyre restaurant with other activists to cause a “chaotic” protest that led to a brawl with owner and chef John Mountain.

Peterson, who is known for her controversial acts of protest, rocked up to the venue on Friday night and staged a “disruption” to those dining.

Footage shows the group storming in shouting with signs of protest, leaving Mr Mountain and other restaurant staff to physically get them out of the venue.

The chaos started last month when Perth’s Fyre restaurant owner Mr Mountain placed a ban on having vegans at his restaurant after a negative review was left by a plant-based eater.

The ban announced on their Facebook page, revealed by The West Australian, read that vegans were no longer welcome “due to mental health reasons”.

This did not sit well with the vegan community, with Mr Mountain copping a lot of backlash.

This then caught the attention of Perth’s most controversial vegan activist.

In a social media video, Peterson shares how she was grabbed by the neck and physically assaulted during the heated protest.

‘So we’ve just done a disruption in the restaurant Fyre,’ she says in the video, posted to Instagram and Facebook.

“So we’ve just done a disruption in the restaurant Fyre,” she says in the video, posted to Instagram and Facebook.

“It was absolutely f****g chaotic.

“I was grabbed by the neck and that’s kind of bruised at the moment, I’ve got cuts and bruises.

“Because there were 12 activists, there were probably at least several of us who were also physically assaulted but this is just the resistance we face as animal rights activists.”

Mr Mountian has since fired back at Peterson, telling her he was “coming after her” and inviting the world’s ‘bullying’ vegans to ‘come at him’.

The chef has dubbed Peterson the ‘Trasher’, and said that he gets death threats from vegans all over the world on a daily basis.

“If they want to try and bully me, good luck, they can all come at me.”
