So refreshed by his visit to our lucky country was King Charles III that he says he will make a full return to overseas duties next year.

Having been battling an unnamed cancer for much of 2024, the monarch’s aides say his visit to our Commonwealth shores was a “perfect tonic”.

“He has genuinely loved this tour. He has genuinely thrived on the program. It’s lifted his spirits, mood and recovery,” a palace aide told media. “We’re now working on a pretty normal looking, full overseas tour programme for next year, which is a high for us to end on.”

Well, Your Majesty, given this, may I humbly suggest you make this an annual pilgrimage? Perhaps begin by touring the parts of our sun-drenched country you missed by focusing solely on the East Coast this time around.
