The United States Department of Justice has released previously classified documents used for investigations into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, with Americans revolting over what has been included.

The New York Post has reported that the dossier contains over 100 pages. However, sleuths have been warned they may be left “disappointed” as the newly released files have almost no new information.

It is understood that the documents may just contain Epstein’s contacts.

A group of conservative influencers and commentators were seen leaving the White House on Thursday.

The group held files that read “The Epstein Files”.

It is unclear if the files will now be released to the public, or shared with media more broadly.

The conservatives handed the files run online social media accounts including: @LibsofTikTok, CollinRigg, DC_Draino, Cernovich and JackPosobiec.

Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News that the files would include flight logs and names, but did not provide additional details about what context the documents may provide.

US House Representative Anna Paulina Luna expressed her disappointment over the release on social media.

“I, nor the task force, were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today,” she wrote on X.

“A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook.

“ THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR,” she wrote in all caps.

“A complete disappointment.”
