Traffic is heavy on Perth’s roads this morning, with a number of crashes, a fire and breakdowns causing havoc.

A crash on Tonkin Highway southbound at Beechboro Road North in Whiteman has significantly slowed traffic on approach, with vehicles in the left and right emergency lanes.

It has left traffic to manoeuvre through the crash site in two lanes.

A crash in Bayswater on Tonkin Highway southbound at Collier Road has left traffic heavily banked up to Beechboro Road North.

Motorists are advised to save time and avoid the area.

Debris on the Whitfords Avenue entry ramp to Mitchell Freeway southbound in Kingsley is causing headaches, with traffic slow as drivers make their around the problem.

A truck breakdown on Great Eastern Highway at the Westbound exit to Graham Farmer Freeway in Rivervale is so far not causing too many delays but motorists should be careful on apparoach.

Motorists heading north should keep an eye on a fire that has closed Old Yanchep Road between Wanneroo and Cutler roads.
