Souwest Jets will look to continue their winning momentum when they tackle Hamersley Comets at Waroona Recreation Centre on Sunday.

A round-seven 56-43 victory over Peel Lightning at the same venue on Sunday was the first win of the season for the club’s open side.

Only six goals were conceded in a defensively dominant first term by the Jets before shooter Rylee Hall got to work, finishing with 43 goals.

The under-21 side also picked up a big win over the same opponents, emerging 63-48 victors on the back of a standout shooting display by Lily Knight (40 goals) and Grace Millichamp (19).

Sunday’s open game starts at 2pm after the under-21 outfit plays at 12.30pm.
