Motorcyclist killed in crash involving grader on Indian Ocean Drive near Green Head from Mid West district

A man local to the Mid West region has died in a motorbike crash in WA’s Mid West. The motorcyclist was travelling south on Indian Ocean Drive, near the coastal town of Green Head, about 1.30pm on Thursday, March 9 when the motorbike crashed into the rear of a grader travelling in the same direction. Major Crash detectives confirmed the man was local to the Mid West and was riding a Triumph motorcycle. The 42-year-old rider died at the scene. The driver of the grader — a 36-year-old man — was uninjured.
