Police make arrest after Crystal Seafood Restaurant stabbing

A spat between two Chinese restaurant employees has allegedly devolved into violence.

NSW Police attended the Crystal Seafood Restaurant in Carlingford, northwestern Sydney, on Sunday on reports of a stabbing inside the shopping centre eatery about 2pm.

“Police were told two employees had an argument before one man allegedly stabbed the other man multiple times in his head, face and arms,” the police said.

“The 63-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.

“The 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He has been taken to hospital under police guard for treatment for a minor inquiry to his head.”

Investigators have established a crime scene and inquiries into the alleged melee continue, the police said.
