The Mullewa Agricultural Show has celebrated its 90th anniversary, with patrons enjoying a day filled with fun and festivities at the town’s recreation ground on Saturday.

Although rain and wild weather was in force in the morning it cleared later in the day allowing everyone to enjoy the activities in full.

The livestock pavilion judging took place in the afternoon, while sideshow alley provided fun for the whole family.

There was a rock climbing wall and trampolines, before Old McDonald’s farm and the pony rides opened in the afternoon to help entertain the kids.

For car enthusiasts, the monster trucks were popular throughout, while the Austin-Healey rally was held in Mullewa.

The quick shear competition took place in the afternoon, and the Mullewa Gift was run and won by Tom Leseburg.

The event formed part of the town’s Outback Bloom festival. People came to the area to see the wildflowers that had popped up due to plentiful rains over the past couple of months.

People who attended across the four days enjoyed guided tours to see the wildflowers, as well as arts and crafts activities.
