Morawa police Christmas campaign keeps drivers sober with raffle incentive for those who blow 0.00 BAC

Morawa police are promoting safe driving throughout the region over the course of the festive season by offering those who blow 0.00 in a breath test the chance to win a raffle. Throughout December, Morawa police patrols will be set up ready to catch drink-drivers and those not adhering to road safety measures. But there is an incentive for those with a zero blood alcohol content, Morawa police say. In a post to Facebook, a police spokesperson said anyone who returns a BAC of 0.00 when asked to provide a breath test will automatically enter the draw to win a Christmas raffle. The incentive is part of the station’s Christmas campaign Who’s Driving you Home this Christmas. “If you see our amazing volunteers in the community, thank them for their ongoing work over the year and let’s keep them at home this Christmas with their families,” the police spokesperson said. “Look out for each other, and see you on the road.”
