City of Greater Geraldton invites submissions for round 31 of its Community Grants Program
The latest round of the City of Greater Geraldton’s Community Grants Program is now open for organisations seeking a financial injection to register their interest.
The program, which is now receiving submission for round 31, is aimed at not-for-profit community groups, and offers grants of up to 50 per cent of a project cost up to a maximum of $20,000.
Mayor Jerry Clune said the grants scheme had a “proven track record of helping community-based organisations take their activities to the next level”.
“The distribution of these funds helps with equipment, facilities and programs that make Greater Geraldton a brighter place to live,” he said.
“I look forward to seeing what fantastic initiatives will come out of this latest round of community grants and urge groups who feel they would benefit from a financial leg up to apply.”
Help is on offer for groups who want to have their draft reviewed before submitting their final application.
Draft applications for revision and feedback must be submitted by Sunday, August 4. The final deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday, August 16.
A full list of eligibility requirements is available on the city’s online grant information site: https://cgg.smartygrants.com.au/.
