Powerball draw 1502: Point Cook couple win entire $30 million jackpot after man dreamt about winning numbers

One Australian couple are $30 million richer, with the winner revealing the unbelievable way he selected the numbers.

The $30 million prize pool was drawn on Thursday evening, with a Point Cook couple holding the only division one winning ticket.

“Jesus! I’ll have to wake my wife up for this! She’s asleep but she will be wanting to hear this!” the winning man told lottery officials late on Thursday night.

“This is life-changing!”

After receiving what may be the best wake-up call in history, the elated wife said: “Oh my god! This is amazing!”

When asked about how the couple selected the winning numbers, the man explained his choices had come to him in a dream.

“I had a dream about these numbers – 1, 7, 11 and 22. There were other numbers, but I didn’t remember them all,” he said.

“I’ve always had these numbers in my head so I put them and a few others on a ticket a few years ago, hoping they would pay off. And it did!

“This is the best call I’ve ever had.”

The couple revealed despite being $30 million richer, they were both going to work on Friday.

We’re pretty low key. We’ll still go to work tomorrow.

“We just want to enjoy life. We’ll speak to a financial adviser and invest.

“We don’t want for much, so this means we are well and truly set!

“It’s just amazing!”

The winning ticket was a PowerHit entry, which guarantees the entrant the “all-important Powerball number”.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1502 on Thursday 27 February 2025 were 26, 22, 7, 35, 1, 11 and 25. The all-important Powerball number was 3.
