Albany’s community spirit was in full swing over the weekend as cyclists, volunteers and supporters brought smiles, sweat and cash to the annual 24-hour Spinathon.
Fifteen teams and four solo cyclists had raised $49,552 by Wednesday for Albany Community Hospice, with donations still ongoing and beating the $35,000 target.
Punters lined up to dunk notable Albany faces, including City of Albany mayor Greg Stocks and local doctors David Ward and Toby Leach, while enjoying coffee and treats from HazBeanz Finestkind Coffee.
