Geraldton’s first mixed martial arts fight night promises to showcase the best talent that Geraldton and the Mid West has to offer in the multiple disciplines of MMA.

Ragnarok, presented by Valhalla MMA, will consist of eight bouts across different weight categories, with fighters taking centre stage in the octagon in their chosen discipline on Saturday night.

On Friday from 6pm at the Tarcoola Tavern, Valhalla MMA will be hosting the weigh ins, which is a great opportunity for fans of the sport to get down and see what’s on offer at the big event the following night.

With an array of talent on display, Valhalla MMA’s Ragnarok fight night is set to be a showstopper. Featuring the best local talent that has come through Valhalla’s gym, owner Waylon Prater hopes this will give more exposure to the sport.

“It is a great opportunity to show the town the hard work that these fighters have put into their passion,” he said.

“It is all about growing the sport and getting exposure for these local fighters.”

Ragnarok will be held at La Fiamma Soccer Club with the doors opening at 5pm. The action will start at 6pm.
