Marlene Elvie Bessie Narrier: Woman remanded in custody following alleged aggravated robbery in Geraldton

A woman has been remanded in custody charged with taking part in an aggravated robbery in Geraldton. Marlene Elvie Bessie Narrier is alleged to have stolen multiple cans of pre-mix alcohol on Wednesday, November 13 from Cellarbrations in Wonthella. She was charged with aggravated robbery and while the details surrounding the offence were not stated in court, it was heard the victim involved was over the age of 60. Ms Narrier was also alleged to have stolen alcohol on two other occasions in November, including a 10-pack of Jack Daniels pre-mix and a 1.5L bottle of Jim Beam from the same store. The 26-year-old was also charged with stealing a 10-pack of Jack Daniels pre-mix and a 10-pack of Wild Turkey pre-mix to the value of $131 from a bottle shop in Bluff Point. Ms Narrier was alleged to be entering licensed premises despite having a barring notice at the same time as the latter two incidents. Defence counsel did not apply for bail and she was remanded in custody until Monday, December 2 for legal advice.
