Police charge 28yo man with stealing car that allegedly rammed marked police car

A 28-year-old man has been charged after allegedly ramming a stolen luxury vehicle into a marked police car in Perth’s south, leaving two officers needing treatment in hospital. Police claim the collision involved a silver Grand Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of South Street and Karel Avenue in Bull Creek about 5.10am on Sunday. The driver of the allegedly stolen vehicle and a female passenger aged in her 30s were not hurt but were checked in hospital. Police have charged the man with stealing a motor vehicle. He has been granted bail to appear in court at a later date.
