Jack Alexander Lusty: Albany man remanded in custody for breaching bail conditions for alleged DV

A former Albany real estate agent and fraudulent sparky has been remanded in custody four days after he was granted bail for allegedly attacking his partner and threatening her dog. Jack Alexander Lusty appeared in Narrogin Magistrates Court via videolink from Katanning Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with possessing an article with intent to cause fear, breaching bail conditions, driving without a licence and failing to give personal details to police. The 25-year-old was represented by duty lawyer Graeme Payne who did not apply for bail. Police prosecutor Sgt Natalie Parker said they had yet to receive the complainant’s account of the alleged offence. Mr Payne said that he had concerns for his client’s wellbeing and that his next appearance might be a bedside hearing. Mr Lusty will apply for bail in his next appearance via videolink in Albany Magistrates Court on January 2.
