The RSL Albany Sub-Branch hosted its last functions for the year on Friday with the day kicking off with a morning tea and ending with a sundowner.

Morning tea attendees were treated to a presentation by 10th Lighthorse Albany Troop president Brett Ward.

In the afternoon, members came together for the last Batons and Bayonets Sundowner for 2024, enjoying a yarn and a bite to eat in the clubrooms.

The organisation will now take a break from events over summer. The next official function is planned for February 15 with a service to commemorate and recognise Australian Defence Force service in the last 50 years.
