Lexus has confirmed the pricing for the high-performance LBX Morizo RR crossover ahead of its local arrival in the first half of 2025.

Priced from $76,490 before on-roads, it’s $19,500 more expensive than the current LBX Sports Luxury AWD flagship.

It’s also $13,500 more expensive than the Toyota GR Yaris GTS automatic, and $6000 more than the Toyota GR Corolla GTS automatic.

Power in the LBX Morizo RR comes from a 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine producing 206kW of power and 390Nm of torque.

This is 15kW and 10Nm less than the related GR Yaris and GR Corolla, as well as the Volkswagen T-Roc R, arguably its closest rival.

The three-cylinder engine is mated exclusively to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, with drive sent to through an all-wheel drive system.

Unlike other markets, the Australian-specification LBX Morizo RR won’t be offered with a six-speed manual transmission.

The LBX Morizo RR sits 10mm lower than the core Luxury and Sports Luxury trim levels, reducing its centre of gravity.

Other highlight features include a Torsen limited-slip rear differential, 19-inch alloy wheels, new front bumper, plus vertical fins on the rear. Two-tone paint is available for an additional $1750.

Stopping power is courtesy of aluminium monobloc four-piston calipers with 356mm two-piece ventilated discs at the front, and floating single-piston calipers with 281mm solid discs at the rear.

Inside there are black leather-accented sports front seats, as well as leather-accented shift knob and dimpled steering wheel with contrast red stitching. There are also steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
